Hot Water Wizards/files/rmech.png$2304 Fayette St, North Kansas City MO 913-602-0434"We have an older house where previous homeowners did many home repairs on their own, many incorrectly. Our basement bathtub was leaking out of the adjacent wall when we drained it, and the bathroom smelled of sewer gas. We could not understand what was causing the leak or the smell Corey came out, took out the vanity and discovered that the tub had been plumbed incorrectly when installed many years ago. It was draining into an old floor drain that was clogged. He took the time to show me the problem, explain to me what the problem was as well as talk to my husband at work and explain it to him. He discussed the options that we had to fix it and the work that he was going to do. In the process he noticed that the shut off valves weren't working properly and replaced them as well. I can't say enough about how great they were. They were friendly and helpful when i called to schedule the appointment, arrived promptly, kind and courteous throughout the appointment, and very knowledgeable. He re-installed the vanity before leaving, cleaned up the bathroom and left it neater than when he arrived. He also educated us on how to use enzymes on a regular basis to prevent this problem in the future. We will definitely use the them in the future as well as refer them to friends and family. "

Hot Water Wizards/files/rmech.png$2304 Fayette St, North Kansas City MO 913-602-0434"I purchased the special that R-Mech was running for $99 for two hours of plumbing work. I called and reached Brad immediately and was able to quickly schedule an appointment. Corey arrived right on time and got right to work on the things I had lined up - the water heater flush and grinder pump smell issue. In the process he noticed that a pipe to the water heater had developed a leak that had crusted over (self-healed due to hard water). He fixed that, as well, while he was working on the hot water heater. He said that the items I had wouldn't take a full two hours and to be thinking if there were other things I wanted him to look at. That's how the slow-draining bathroom sink and stiffly moving kitchen faucet got added to the list. The faucet turned into a bigger project because it turned out that the faucet was on its last legs and needed to be replaced and also the garbage disposal had apparently been leaking - there was water in the cabinet. Because the final faucet failure happened while Corey was trying to get it to work better, he offered a discount to come back out and fix it that evening (he had another appt to get to). It made for a long day for him, but he came back out that evening so we wouldn't be without a kitchen faucet any longer than necessary.Due to the leaking disposal upstairs, we ended up deciding to replace the garbage disposal in the kitchen and install another one in a bar sink downstairs and hired R-Mech to do that work. Corey came back out and did a great job. He even fixed a gasket on the sink and routed the dishwasher discharge through the new disposer as part of the whole job. At one point a couple of weeks later, some of the grinder pump smell came back. Corey came out the day I called at no charge to seal the pit a little more thoroughly to completely stop the odor. Very happy with R-Mech's work and would definitely call them back out. We have also recommended them to my husband's parents (they had a leaking toilet) and they were also happy with R-Mech's work. Corey even remembered to ask them about my dog that had been very ill when he was out to install the disposers"

Hot Water Wizards/files/rmech.png$2304 Fayette St, North Kansas City MO 913-602-0434"I have never received such great service from anyone. Corey was professional, punctual and friendly. Our 10 year old noisy garbage disposal was broken and leaking and we had already purchased a new one to be installed. Corey confirmed that the old one needed to be replaced. I complained that I hated the garbage disposal being on the small side of the sink (the vegetable prep sink) and asked how complicated or pricey it would be to switch sides. It would be a stretch to reroute all of the plumbing to switch sides within the 2 hour time slot, considering my 2 leaky faucets and clogged sink. We had seen the 2 hour plumbing special for $99 on Angie's List and wanted to use that special, so I said we should just stick with the old design. Corey assured me he could get it all done and that he wanted me to be happy with the set up of the garbage disposal because I had to live with it for a long time. He got it all done and went a little over and didn't charge us for anything but parts. He even would have fixed the broken handles on our bathtub had the builder left access, but tiles would need to be removed, so we saved that for when and if we decide to retile our bathtub area. We mistakenly didn't pay ahead on Angie's List for the special but they let me do that and take advantage of the great deal. I was quoted by a bigger company over 3 times what I spent. I feel guilty that we got all of this work done for only $128, I would have happily paid a lot more for the great service we received. Now we have a new plumber for life. Honesty and hard work go a long way."

Hot Water Wizards/files/rmech.png$2304 Fayette St, North Kansas City MO 913-602-0434"Super service!!This was an Angies List "Big Deal" for 2 hours of plumbing for $99.00. We had two faucets that needed repair, and we got so much more. I pointed out an issue with our water heater and Corey Adams said it's repair could also be done within the two hour time frame. We just paid for the parts needed. One of the faucets needing repair was a tub/shower faucet that turned out to be a difficult fix, but Corey went the extra mile (and time) to get it done. At our request, we were also given estimates for some future repairs/replacements.We will definitely use this company for any future plumbing needs, and would highly recommend."

Hot Water Wizards/files/rmech.png$2304 Fayette St, North Kansas City MO 913-602-0434"Excellent! We called on Monday and Corey came to our home within 2 hours of our call. He and my husband discussed the pros and cons of tankless vs traditional hot water heaters. He was knowledgeable, honest, and helpful. He did not pressure us to purchase more than what we need. For the installation, he arrived on time, was professional in his conduct, removed our old tank and replaced it with the new one, and cleaned up the area before he left. (And he gave a discount because we're Angie's List members!) We were impressed and will use this company again!"

Hot Water Wizards/files/rmech.png$2304 Fayette St, North Kansas City MO 913-602-0434"Brad and Corey were wonderful to work with!! I had forgotten that plumbers could be conscientious, friendly, and helpful, without an ‘oversell’ tactic. Brad answered all my questions and offered advice even at the possible expense of the company. After hearing about the problem we were experiencing and the urgency, he made sure someone was scheduled the next day (although they were already booked). When Corey came to the house he worked so efficiently that he contacted me to check if anything else needed attention, thus ensuring I was getting my money’s worth! It is not very often I get that kind of customer service and I so appreciate it:)If Angie's list had A++ this company would receive them from us.Thanks R_Mech you are now our ‘go-to’ plumbers and I will be sure others know too!"

Hot Water Wizards/files/rmech.png$2304 Fayette St, North Kansas City MO 913-602-0434"Corey showed up on time, i have left a list of things that needed to be fixed. He timed himself so he could have everything done, by the time i got home he was almost done with every single item. To fix my shower he didn't have the part with him so he went to the hardware store (he didn't count that against the time because when i talked with him he told me he had the part in his truck). He is very polite, knowledgeable and clean."

Hot Water Wizards/files/rmech.png$2304 Fayette St, North Kansas City MO 913-602-0434"I had two drains, a bathtub and a vanity, that had been slow and then the bathtub drain became completely clogged. I live in a 1926 Craftsman and since moving in 5 years ago I've had 2 toilets replaced, the water heater replaced, the kitchen faucet and disposal replaced, bathtub fixtures replaced and a sewer backup in the basement. I've had a different plumber for each but think I've found THE plumber for the future in R-Mech Rieck Mechanical (wish they had a better name ;-) I bought a $99 deal for 3 hours of plumbing because the last estimate I had for these 2 slow moving drains was $150 a piece. I've bought every drain cleaner known to man but to no avail since the tub ended up being a mechanical failure of the old plumbing drain system. It took time to find it but he fixed the problem well within the 3 hours I had paid for and that included unclogging the vanity drain in the other bathroom. I am looking at a big expense to replace the cast iron piping system but will go with this company when the time has come because I appreciate the fact they they offered such a fantastic deal on Angie's list for this latest problem. I am satisfied that this company is so sure of themselves that they will give a deal to show you how good they are"
